Awarded a Gold Award by Visit England, this is an unusual barn conversion of a tower structure with annex and gothic arch windows on three floors, attractively furnished in a classic style. The lower area of this stone tower and annex was the old cow byre with top battlements added much later.
The lower cream and slate barn to the left of the stone tower on the ground floor there is a split level kitchen/utility with gothic archway with steps into separate dining room with beamed ceiling in the ground floor of the main tower.
Enclosed staircase with fire doors to upper floors. On the middle floor of the main tower, there is a beamed split level sitting room with balcony windows. On this level to the right of the main tower with velux windows is a king bedroom (bed can be split as twin beds, only if pre-booked) with en-suite bathroom with shower over. Bedroom view up the bridleway path.
On the top floor there is a smaller double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Wrought iron railings around stairwell for views over the courtyard and farm.
The number of people (including children from 12 years) occupying the accommodation may not exceed four persons. Please be aware that The Keep is on three floors and has steps into and in most of the rooms.
